I remember last season a game they lost where Vettori had run out of all his regular bowlers so he asked Kohli to bowl the second last over. This over cost them the match. The good news is that Vettori will not make that mistake again, he is no longer the captain, it is now Kohli.
I can't believe I have gone this long without mentioning Chris Gayle, he is the teams extra factor. He has taken to this competition like a duck to water, its his stage. He has made himself the first name that anyone would think of when talking about RCB.
Another quality player in their ranks is just only the South African limited overs skipper. AB Devilliers is definitely one of the best and most inventive batsmen in world cricket. As for spin options RCB have Muralitharan, Vettori, Gayle and Dilshan. Another fun part of the IPL will be watching Zaheer Khan waddle around the boundary.
Their Indian players include Pujara and Vinnay Kumar, both players who will want to stake a claim for the Indian team in the shorter form of the game.
